Written by admin

Ivanka Trump, 37, spoke at the 2019 Milken Institute Global Conference yesterday, and the First Daughter put on an animated display in eye-catching blue. Donald Trump’s eldest daughter wore the sky blue suit jacket and trousers with a simple white shirt and black suede court shoes. She wore her long blonde hair in defined curles which hung over her shoulders. Letting her outfit do the talking, Ivanka opted for classic makeup, sticking to heavy mascara and peach lipstick.

A pair of pearl stud earrings could be seen in her ears, and the thin red bracelet she often wears was on her left wrist.

Ivanka has been busy in recent weeks, undertaking a four day tour of Africa on behalf of the President.

Throughout her visit, Ivanka wore outfits worth over £3000.

On the first day of her trip, Ivanka met with the Ethiopian Women in Coffee Association to attend a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony.

She met with the women at Dumoro Coffee shop where she discussed the empowerment of women in the Ethiopian coffee industry. While she was there, she wore a belted blue shirt dress which featured long sleeves.

The button-up cotton dress was by J. Crew and is on sale for £154, and she paired this with a pair of Rothy’s Maritime Navy pumps on sale for $145, or £111.

On the next of her trip, Ivanka met with women to launch 2X Africa to help close the credit gap for female entrepreneurs on the Continent.

As she met with the women in Ethiopia, she wore a loose red and cream floral shirt dress by designer, Emilia Wickstead, which cost £1,560.

The dress had bell sleeves and a full skirt, and she complemented the look with a pair of white Manolo Blanik BB Pumps, which are on sale for £538.96.

She was spotted leaving Ethiopia to head for her next stop on her African tour to head to Abidjan for more meetings.

Ivanka looked ready for Spring as she travelled in a two-piece yellow suit for Zara, which featured a double-breasted blazer currently on sale for £89.99. She paired the blazer with matching yellow wide-leg trousers, which are selling for £39.99.

Ivanka travelled with a Indra woven rattan and leather tote bag from Vince Camuto which is now sold-out, but similar ones sell for around £70.

She stunned in a blue shirt dress during a meeting the Vice President of the Republic of Ivory Coast, Daniel Kablan Duncan, to further discuss women’s equality.

The Ralph Lauren dress featured open sleeves and cut off just above the knee. The dress is no longer available but similar Ralph Lauren dresses cost around £175.

Finally, she was spotted in a short-sleeved white shirt dress, which has pushed up the total spend of her trip to around £2,740.

Ivanka Trump: Five facts about Donald Trump’s daughter

Real name

Ivanka is not, in fact, her real name. She actually shares her mother’s name Ivana.

Explaining why she is known as Ivanka in a 2010 tweet, she said: “In Czech, Ivanka is the baby name for Ivana, like Bobby is to Robert.”

TV appearances

Ivanka was well known to the American public before her father became President thanks to appearances on TV.

She made short cameos on Project Runway and Gossip Girl, as well as becoming a primary boardroom member on The Apprentice with Donald.

Wedding

Ivanka married Jared Kushner on 25 October 2009 at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, after a three month engagement.

Barron Trump served as ring bearer, as Ivanka wore a custom Vera Wang gown accessorised with diamonds from her fine jewellery collection.

Religion

Ivanka was raised as a Presbyterian Christian, but converted to Judaism to allow her to marry Jared Kushner.

Ivanka studied with Elie Weinstock from the Modern Orthodox Ramaz School, on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City.

She now keeps kosher and observes the Jewish Sabbath. Ivanka said in the February 2015 edition of Vogue: “We’re pretty observant… It’s been such a great life decision for me… I really find that with Judaism, it creates an amazing blueprint for family connectivity.

“From Friday to Saturday we don’t do anything but hang out with one another. We don’t make phone calls.”

Career

Ivanka ran a fashion line for 11 years, only recently closing it down. She also had a fine jewellery store which closed in March 2017.
